Question for 300: March to Glory

I'm at the beginning of the game and I can't kill the war elephant.
Can somebody help me please.

Just push through it and when your near at it press x for light spear attack and when the elephant retaliates cover by holding L and R after the elephant stroke you press x as many times as you can until it dies

Lake is telling you a way to beat the war elephant, but an easier way thats related to his way is, when the elephant is about to attack (which you can tell when it is because he won't look like hes in a normal stance) Just hold L don't hold R too. If you hold L AND R at the same time you're phalanx goes into tuck tail. This is bad because whenever you do tuck tail and a melee enemy attacks you, you lose wrath. Only use tuck tail for arrows and the giant immortal part where he makes rocks fall from the ceiling.

ya its easy just remember to use ur shield to block
