You'll need the following:
Chocobo Down (exp +20)
Chocobo Wing (exp +50)
Chocobo Feather (exp +100)
The following are not required but definitely help:
Black Chocobo Course
EXP Boost day or Bonus Day
This really helps with leveling up your characters, for example: It was my Bonus Day (EXP x2.0), I got a big Lucky Boost on my Black Chocobo course (EXP x3.0), and I was using the three chocobo components. This resulted in my character going from level 37 to level 44 (that's 7 levels) in one battle.
If your character is onion knight or bartz, use wind shear and stir it.
When chaos throws his sword, it will cancel the attack and chaos is damaged ..
