I think only 6 people including the dog or cat. So just 5 people unless you're the crazy cat lady or something and you have a family of 5 and 1 dog or cat, you can't adopt another baby or pet.

Ok,you can have 10 because I have the game...and you can have 6 pets which is really great.So now,my sim Karolyne which is an adult now has had 5 kids,she has had her son named Derik when she was a young adult,he daughter Katie when she was a young adult and another son named Drake,when she was 1 day before her birthday and a set of twins named Daisy and Keven while she was an adult.We adopted a tiny black puppy that we can barely take care of again.I hope I answered your question.

Only six I have the game nd you can have like all pets nd one person or all people nd one pet mix it around but you're only aloud six I hope I answered

I have the sims 3 pets on xbox and at the moment I have five sims. However, the parents (who are want four children as their wish) can not have the fourth child. Is this because there are already five living in the house. There is the mother, father, the eldest son, the daughter and another daughter. Could someone please help me?
