Hit him twice with x, hold down y for the third attack and it'll stun him. Any of the charged y attacks stun him, but this combo works the best for me. If the other bots keep getting in the way, you can resort to just jumping, locking on to random enemies, and holding x to fly-punch towards them. Build up your rage meter, then, if you can, release that special slam attack (the up directional) for major damage. You'll also have time to get in a few more hits while hes stunned. If you can't, use the thunder clap, but the delay after you use it is such that you won't be able to get in those few precious hits afterwards.

I had an interesting bug where, although one of the hulkbusters had 0 hp, he wouldn't die, so I had to fight 2 hulkbusters at the same time, plus all of the other robot suits. It got pretty annoying because right after I'd dodge one chest beam, another would come out of nowhere. I fought maybe 4 or 5 of them, but the bugged one wouldn't die
