It depends on your magic level. If it is higher I would go for some major fire damage, put the power up, but leave the time limit down. I also find that soul capture helps with the re-charging of the weapon, so if you can, add that to the sword.
If your magic is lower, then just put some basic fire damage.

Just add all ice, fire, and shock damage and even out their effects. Also add weakness to ice, fire, and shock and put it the highest you could get necessary, but put in the effect for 1 seconds. Also add soul capture as mentioned above but put it for one seconds because right when you kill them it will count as a capture.
