Can anyone help me solve this riddle:

Two bodies have I. Though both joined in one.
The more I stand still. The quicker I run.

I've found this letter in the bedroom over the door in the rosenthorn hall (my skingrad house) if I solve the riddle I will know were a treasure is hide and I just can't find an answer

It is a hourglass that is in your basement, it is in one of the support beams for the house
