The tears are scattered around the floor on the snow. If I remember correctly there are 6 of them. They are very small and blue so they can be really hard to spot. Theres a couple around the edges of the snow, 1 in the middle on the rock and the rest are scattered around the middle rock. Might take you a little while longer to find them. If your not a Nord then carry freeze resist potions or learn a spell for it. Look at the floor and walk around slowly and you should be able to find them all.

The only correction there is to make is that there are 5 tears not 6 (although when you find the fifth one you probably have a quest update anyway) but the rest is solid...

Depending on your level you may find a frost ring which gives you 100% protection against frost. If not use the frost salts S`drassa gives you (you have to go back to see him after visiting the glade for him to do so). The tears can be extremely difficult to find if you don`t know what to look out for. The tears are a bluish hue colour but blend in well with the snow. 4 of the tears can be located on the snowy ground, 3 in the middle of the clearing (if you look at the ground closely enough you will spot them), 1 can be found near to a little niche in a rock if I remember rightly, and the 5th is actually on top of one of the rocks beside Garridan and the Atronach so check carefully. Save first if you think you won`t find them before the frost kills you.
