Impacts

What are impacts? I've been wondering and I really don't know what impact hits are. What is it?

Impacts are a special type of guard, it's also called "Impact Guard". When you correctly perform it, your opponent hit won't deal any damage to you. In addition, the oppent will be rebounded back, and his guard will be open for a few short moments, allowing you to make him pay for all this trouble.

Being able to guard impact really makes the difference between loss and victory, especially on higher difficulty levels.

You perform an impact by pressing X and forward right on the time your opponent attacks. You'll than have a green barrier blocking the attack. If you time it perfectly you'll get a just impact with a red barrier. If you're not good at impacting, then you always equip the skill impact A, master impact, etc.
