After I close the gate as tails so that the dolphin can't escape the next stage is to chase dr eggmans ship I can't seem to get to the end of the chas e because sonic keeps on dieing coz he goes to fast and keeps bumping in to the things also y can't I save the bit that I have done like the dolphin part I always have to start from the begining everytime I die chasing the battle ship so please can you help me get to the next steage and save

Her's a tip-since you already have Light Dash,use the to run in a straight line whlie at the same time collecting rings.
