What are the Cloven?

Ive basically watched my brother play the whole game and have heard of the Cloven, what are they exactly? I just beat the game for my brother cause he kept dieing on the last level where you get the upgraded bullseye (my first time playing to mind you!) and nearly flew off my feet from that giant angel. Are the people who come and take you away at the end of the game the Cloven? The guys with the masks on??, and where the heck do you go anyway? Is there going to be another resistance to??? Why am I asking all these quiestions?????lol

I can't tell you who the cloven are but I can tell you there is another resistance game being made, the game is set in America and is supposedly going to be called "Rise Of Man" and apparently you play as same character as in the first game, so I am assuming that wherever he is taken at the end of the game, that it is somewhere safe, he was possibly taken home to America

I don't know who the cloven are but the soldiers who take hi away are called "sentinels".They have an immunity to the virus also and help him fight the chimera.They take him to iceland but on the way crash and it goes on from there.

Gah, these are rumors, not facts. For sure, it IS rumored that Hale was taken by the Sentiels to America. BUT they are not the Cloven, it is RUMORED that the Cloven is the Russians from after the Chimeria broke out of Russian Borders.
