How do I get it to work because I beaten the game under 5 hours and I can't see the symbol.

Infinite ammo can be purchased for most of the weapons in bonus features using your points but only after you've completely upgraded the weapon. But other weapons such as the rocket launcher require you to be the game under a certain time or achieve certain ranks in all missions but this only gives you the option to activate it. After that you will need to go into special features and turn it on and you also need to select yes when you start the game. Once you've done this you will have infinite ammo when you start a mission.
