It depends. Try reading the walkthroughs, in the emblems section thats what helped me.

Most of the emblems are ulocked by completeing the game in under 5 hours with no alerts, kills or continues but others are awarded for random things like spending an hour crouched or hugging a wall.
I reccomend unlocking the stealth camo before you try to unlock most of them.
