Carlos witht he mine

Hi , I have submitted this question before but have got no responce. I am at the stage where carlos has the mine and has to plant it on the gate, I kill all the guards with my sniper rifle but carlos will not follow me. He just stands in one place all the time , how do I get him to follow me to the gate to plant the mine on ???

After everyone is dead, place dot for gun sight in front of door and push the "O" button to make him move in.
