Stuck in Hovercraft on River in China

I have gotten on to the hovercraft in the china mission, and according to the walkthroughs, I should be looking for a sluice gate??? No sign of this - there is, however a graphical glitch in that the river just stops, and the hovercraft just falls to the river bed and proceeds.

This happens just after the point where the green outline of the hovercraft is visible on the GPS - Any help would be appreciated.

Probably a glicth, get a new disc
