                -----Classes
                -----TO49

Cars a divided into 5 'Classes'. D, C, B, A, and Specialty. 
Class D cars are the slowest. There are also no Class D Bikes. You will start
out with a Class D vehicle. Class D cars are nearly useless once you unlock 
Class C and beat  'Class D Vehicles Only" Tournament in Tokyo.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Class C Vehicles are faster and more fun to drive. They are also more 
expensive. Class C vehicles are used throughout most of your career and are
good to keep in your garage, just in case. Class C also introduces Choppers 
into your arsenal.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 
Class B vehicles are necessary to get through Detroit. They also introduce you
to Sport Bikes. Class B vehicles are the last set of Tuners, Muscles, SUVs, 
Luxury Sedans, and Choppers.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Class A. Alright, now we have some power to play with! Only Sport Bikes and a 
new addition, Exotics, remain. The bikes are extremely cheap, and the cars are 
really expensive. Chose wisely when buying them and make sure you buy the best
one (Cough)Mclaren F1(cough)Aprilia Mille Factory(cough).

                -----Groups/Clubs
                -----X26H

Cars are dived by Class and then into 'Groups' or 'Clubs'. I will use both
terms throughout this guide. There are Luxury Sedans, Tuners, Exotics, SUVs,
Muscles, Specialty Cars, Choppers, and Sport Bikes. In the game, they are 
identified at the bottom left of the garage screen eg. Class B/Luxury Sedans.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Luxury Sedans:
These vehicles are large, heavy vehicles. They cost more than other cars and
are often made by high end auto makers. A prominent company in this group is
Mercedes Benz. These cars (save the SL5OO and SC430) recieve the ability 
'Agro'. This makes you indestructible and causes extra damage to anythig you 
hit. It is recieved by hitting lots of stuff. For some reason, it also seems 
to make you go slightly faster.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tuners:
Thess cars are the kind of vehicles that 20 year olds customize and race 
against each other. They are cheap and handle really well. They don't have 
much of a top end until Class B, though. Their special ability is 'Zone'. It
slows down time and gives you complete control of your ride. All tuners and
the SL500 and SC430 get Zone.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Exotics:
These are the fastest of all the cars. They have great acceleration and insane
top speeds, but they go so fast that they are often out of your control. Many
people choose not to drive exotics because they are extremely easy to miss 
turns with. Their special ability is 'Zone'. It slows down time and gives you 
more control of your car. All Exotics get Zone.

SUVs:
These big trucks are a force to be reckoned with. They can blast through 
traffic with barely a scratch. And, as a bonus, they never seem to spin out.
SUVs are moderately priced, save the GT 750, and get the ability 'Agro'. This
makes you indestructible and causes extra damage to anythig you hit. It is 
recieved by hitting lots of stuff.

Muscles: 
Ah, American muscle. I'm going back to the garage to get my Lamborghini. In 
this game, muscle cars are awful. Thet handle like a dream, but for some 
reason, they have no acceleration. If you haven't unlocked roar, these are 
nearly useless. Once you unlock roar, they are the best in the game. And take
a look at my username: Skyline49. Yes.

Choppers:
Choppers are American bikes. I don't like them, but some do. They get Roar.
Their handling is poor, and so is their acelleration. But you can do a full 
wheelie without flipping.

Sport Bikes:
I really like the sport bikes. They are insanely fun to drive, and are cheap 
to boot! They get Zone, but do they need it with their zen-like handling? 
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Specialty Vehicles:
These are Police cars and are more of a Class than a Group. There are 4 police
cars and one bike. They are all free and mediocre.

Class D cars are normal street vehicles. There isn't anything outstanding at
all here. At least, nothing outstandingly good, anyway...

You need to choose a first car or you can't race. Here's something to get you 
started.

If you are reading this guide, you probably already have a first car. I am
assuming that you haven't ever played this game, rented it, and can't choose 
a first car.

There are 7 possible choices for your first car. You have $22000 so choose
wisely. If you are into Choppers, SUVs, and Exotics, you are out of luck. You
can only get them later. Pick between Muscle or Tuner. Now.

The muscle cars are the weakest, but the most fun to drive. The SRT-4 is the 
fastest, but races seem to be harder with it. My opinion is that the R32 is
the best because it is evenly balanced. This car won't last you long so don't 
do much to it.

                -----Tunung Tips

This game relies heavily on tunung. There are some cars that must be tuned, 
some that can't be tuned, and some that are useless when they are tuned.

Tuning cars is very straightforward. you have 2 options: Level 1 or Level 2.
Choose wisely.

With tires, for some reason, you can hit level 3. There are multiple Airbag
settings, but only one for hydros. Confused? So am I.

When you customize body parts, they aren't in any order whatsoever, so you 
can't decide to take one full body kit, you just have to guess. Depending on
the complexity of the part, it may cost more or less. Multi-spoke rims can 
cost 10k while the next set of rims may be 4k. Confused? I still am.

One good thing with the body kits is that they keep the brands together so at
least you can stick to one brand.

All of the cars can be customized insanely in the detail shop. This is where
you change license plates, badges, vinyls, etc.

In the paint shop, you can make your car stand out by changing body colour,
rim colour, window tint, or neon. Everything is free, except for neon
or custom colours.

Some people say that you should nevery upgrade the body of the car; a fast car
is better than a cool one. I disagree. If your car looks like a piece of crap,
then you will hate driving it and feel like an idiot. If it looks really cool,
you have more confidince in it and may drive faster. I still would prefer a
Racing Civic versus a Ricer Civic, but you never know. I have found out that
if your car is stock, your opponents' cars will be stock too, giving you the
edge.

I like designing cars that are almost like ones from movies, but with a 
special difference. You might like driving through the city in your custom
Chevy, but you may also like cruising along a highway in a purple Eclipse,
with your friend driving a yellow EVO behind you. Try something new.
