You run up to the ravage riders side, jump up to the window, and without hitting the engines or the cannon, hit the window. (It dosent matter if the driver is looking out the window. Juts hit it anyways. It will do the same amount of damage.) If the engines dont have smoke coming out of them, then you can accadentally hit it. Try to stay on the window so you dont get burned or shot. Hit the window 3 times then run to the wooden center piece of the arena if the ravage rider is chasing you, then sprint (run button) around the center piece until you reach the enemey. Then run across the center piece then it will turn twards the center piece. Run out of the circle and far from it. Dont go into the water or get hit by the wall cannons. The ravage rider will run into the wall and then you hit the drivers legs. When his legs go back in, hit it one more time then r[video][/video] un back to the center piece. (Do this over and over until you have defeated the ravage rider.)
Alright, so I fought them about 80,000 times with no success, I just kept dying because it's freaking impossible (kudos to those who did it without this little fun glitch! >:3). Okay, so listen carefully everyone and you will have defeated these two in about a minute, no luck needed!!! :D
Okay, so the door you come out of, it's really big with a wide bridge, go to ANY door and bridge EXCEPT this one, if you use the entrance bridge you came out of, you will just die. Use the SMALL entrance bridges (there are three, any is fine). So double jump over the two little suckers (if you get attacked, that's fine, just don't get too hurt, you need a little hp) and glide to one of the small entrances and sit on the bridge. Sit as close to the entrance/exit gate as you can, just sit, and wait. The two boneheads will run over and the first one will sit right in front of you, but will not attack you (if he is, you are too close, go back more). The second one will then run on either of your sides and try to kill you, but end up killing himself by 'touching' the toxic sludge stuff on the side. Congratulations, you've defeated one of the evil skorpions!!! :D
Okay, for the second one, just attack it with 'O' until it shows you it's belly: STAY ON THE BRIDGE! STAY-> ON BRIDGE, okay? He'll probably attack you once, maybe twice. So then he'll come back down, get him back up so his belly is showing and attack him until he rolls over. Then double jump and hold 'O' over the sucker and CAPOW! DEEEEAAAADDDDD!!! Both, dead, that's it, you win! <3
I figured this out (for a funny story) because I let the thing run, I just put down my controller, to see if maybe I could find a pattern to their guarding and stuff, but I got pushed into the corner of the bridge by the first attack and the second skorpion ran at me on the side with the sludge (not the rest of the bridge open for him to kill me, stupid thing) and exploded into gems. So then I thought, hmmm, they can't reach me at the little ones. I did that the next time, found the first one kills itself, then the last one you have to attack, but it basically kills itself! I was SO excited, but then that got me angry at all the stupid people who hadn't figured that out! I almost broke my TV I got so frustrated, when there was a trick to it! So I decided to not let all of you go through the same frustration and just give you the easy way out, it's not a cheat, it's just a glitch, or using the environment to your advantage!!! :P

The best way to defeat Ravage Rider in the arena is by using 'Dragon Time.' Do this by pressing L1 at key moments during the battle. Ravage Rider's health meter will refill twice before you can take him down, and breath weapons will have little to no effect on him during the fight. The first part of the battle is simple: use 'Dragon Time' to slow things down when going in for an attack. Approach Ravage Rider from the front-right, as he will circle the arena and attack using either his flames or cannon shots. Both of these are easy to avoid in the early stage of the fight. Double-jump when approaching this big old beastie after using 'Dragon Time' to set up your attack, then begin a mid-air combo. You can only hit him three times, and attempting to do more will always guarantee that you are injured in return. At times, Rider will cut through the center of the arena floor and smash into the wall, becoming momentarily stunned. Again, while he is helpless, attack him three times with just the O button. Repeat sequences of attacks and in the same manner until his life is gone; but when it refills, watch out!
The second part of the battle is more difficult, but with enough patience and practical use of your 'Dragon Time' attack sequences, you can bring this insolent boss to the ground in no time. However, Rider will spurt fire from the front and both sides during this stage in the fight, so be careful not to use your L1 too frequently or in a poor position (such as right in front of him when he suddenly changes direction). Rider will attempt to ram you several times, but each successful dodge of his attack results in him becoming helpless against the arena wall. Make the most of these opportunities, because this is where and when you will do the most damage.
When Ravage Rider's life reaches zero, he will begin to smoke and slowly start on fire. The battle is not over yet. Don't get overconfident, and continue using L1 when you have enough 'time' charged and finish the fight.
