I think it is the same as the 2006 controls so how you did it in 2006

I think it's triangle + o I use type_c it's easer mario54 aka south park dude and I'm not tubby I'm just big bone

Just use the same button combination with SDVR SVR 2006, Triangle plus Circle is Irish Whip and holding Triangle and Circle is strong Irish Whip.

All of it is the same as the 2006 controls. It may be confusing at first with new and other different match types. I say the easiest way to irish whip is triangle and circle plus directional buttons for control type D.
