If you activate it you can flash your badge and your rouge meter empties, and if the cops solve a street crime by themselves (e.g. make a rapist get out of the car)
you get the career and good cop points as if you did it. I don't know if there's anything else but I think that's all.
Luke93 if your chasing somebody when they get out of the car whether you did it or not you still get the points
