Question for Tony Hawk's American Wasteland

On the first mission of east LA, how do you grind the spear of the statue to get boone's pants? Please help!!!

To do this mission you must first smash the sprinklers on the pipe in the planter that is directly behind the statue. To do this, get off your board, stand facing a sprinkler and press circle. This will smash the sprinkler. There are three sprinklers on the pipe to smash. Once you have done them all then simply grind on the pipe towards the statue, and ollie to a grind on the spear. Happy Gaming! (Try skating in real life, it's lots of fun!)
