Here are instructions for the entire Penthouse Mission. Be sure to reload your pistol, as you don't want to get caught in a fight with an unloaded weapon. The key is SILENCE; I cannot stress it enough. To be silent you must move as slowly as possible without stopping (it is alright if you stop though). It also helps to zoom in on your weapon (R3), this will help you to move slower and make less noise.

Objective: Bug Telephone

First, you need to go through the door one the 1st story of the building (the one you are on), turn to your left 180 degrees and go through the pair of glass doors with the fish on each side. When you get to the end of the hall there will be a split. You need to slowly go right in the crouched position. You will see a terrorist in front of you facing a television. Go to the end of the red entrance-way and, going as slow as possible (I used the analog stick to move and was in zoom mode with my gun the whole time, that helped to slow me down) and go around the edge of the room and up the first flight of stairs (the small one next to the big flight of stairs) and as soon as you can, turn onto the large flight of stairs and get against the wall.

Go halfway up and stop. There is a terrorist on patrol wait until he passes you (he will stop at the top of the stairs and wait a few seconds) and slowly continue on the path he took (do NOT take the path that crosses the windows). You will reach a place where there is a colorful divider, go around it into the lighted area and you will see the phone. No need to worry, the terrorist does not come back behind the divider. Look directly at the phone and press and hold the action button (X). Objective Complete.

Objective: Tap Computer

If the patrolling terrorist is not coming, go quickly (in crouch mode) around the path (following his path, NOT the way you came), you will eventually see a place where the path branches off into double doors (on the outer side of the hallway). You must continue on the path (not towards the double doors) until you see the windows. Then go back and face the hallway containing the double doors, go to the left side of the hall and continue a slight (very small) distance. Your boss, John Clark, will tell you that Vargas' accountant is using the primary computer terminal and that you must use the alternate terminal in Vargas' bedroom. Now, slowly (barely moving) progress to the end of the short hall containing the double doors, go up the stairs in crouch mode (you may go fast now) and at the top of the stairs you will reach a checkpoint (the only one in the mission). Wait at that wall (the one at the top of the stairs) until a terrorist walks through the hall in front of you. He will stop for a long time in which you must not move at all.

After he continues going, go silently an slowly in the direction he went (left) (I know your mini-map will indicate there is a terrorist behind him but he will not see you), you will see a door immediately on your left, open it slowly (by looking at it and pressing and holding the action button and hitting the up arrow on your controller). There is a terrorist facing the wall, continue walking silently towards him until you can head left. As you go left you will see a colorful partition (don't worry, there is no terrorist behind it), go around it and you will see a door (leading to an empty bathroom), turn 180 degrees from the door and you will see a laptop on a stand, go to it and hack it (face it directly and press and hold the action button). Objective Complete.

Objective: Rescue and Extract Vargas’ Accountant

After John Clark has finished talking, go to the terrorist that was facing the wall and shoot him. As you exit the bedroom, go to your left, inside the room on the inner side of the hallway you will find two terrorists, kill them and go around the outside of the room until you see another terrorist. Kill him as well. (It is important you do not let them run, if they run, they will get help and it will be harder. After you have killed them go partially down the stairs. You will see a terrorist through the door, kill him and reload. As you continue to ascend, look through the glass doors, there are two terrorists inside that room. Be careful what you shoot because the one at the computer is the accountant you are supposed to save. After you've killed them, reload your gun and then tell him to follow you (the order in which you do those is extremely important as you will be ambushed after you talk to him). Face the door and kill the terrorists that ambush you. As you go out of the double doors, turn left and go into the hall, to your right, a terrorist will appear and shoot at you, shoot him and go over to the windows in crouch mode. You've killed all of the terrorists upstairs but the ones you sneaked past earlier on the first floor are still there, kill them and go down the stairs and go towards the television. Turn left and go to the end of that hallway and turn left again. At the very end of that hallway there is a room with a few terrorists inside. You may kill them if you want but it isn't necessary to complete the mission. If you do NOT want to kill them then you should go down the hallway and turn left, you should see the double glass doors in front of you. Go to the end of that hallway and go through the door to your right. Climb to the top of the stairs, there may be a terrorist there. Go through the door and in front of you, ahead there should be a wooden staircase. Stand on it and shoot the terrorist standing there, if there isn't one, then he is on the left side of the small wooden staircase (on the opposite side of the fence). Kill him and look in front of the staircase, one more terrorist (there are two on the roof) should appear. Kill him and walk over to where he was standing. Go down the flight of stairs and get against the wall on the right side of the big air conditioning unit (the one farthest from the staircase). A helicopter will appear to extract you as soon as the accountant joins you. Objective Complete.
