Midas' Palace: Fire pillars

I got to the lever at the bottom of the farthest and tallest pillar in the back left. When I pull it, that pillar raises up higher revealing that thing I can't get. I have a time limit on getting back up to the pillar and get whatever it is that is in that hole that rises up. What is the fastest way to get up there? I can't swim fast enough. IF I'm even going the right way. Please help...I can't afford to break another controller!!

This part sucks , BAD! The only way I got the pillar to go up and get back over there is HAUL ASS!!!!!
I mean find a smooh path that doesn't slow you down and run and swim as fast as you can move your fingers. It took about a week but I finally made.

Tap triangle rapid and repeatdly to swim and shimmy quicker and you should be able to reach what you need to but ther are a total of three levers in that room that must be pulled to get the final lead bar from the ledge alcove in the back. There is a fourth lever that has to be activated to get the Artifact. Try it now!
