You need a fishin rod on any water at the third island and just hope you get one it usauly takes a long time if not the patient one us the cheats hopes this helps

If you want to catch a boar just carry an obsidan spear, get near the boar, use all of your inventory to cage you two in and watch your sim kill the boar, then when you are finished, you get a nice big fat ham!!!!!
