Disintigration Hammers

I'm in the Shrine of Kaddan where you use your first hammer and everywhere I look I am being told to just hit [] but when I do nothing happens... I beat the game a year ago and can't remember what I'm doing wrong.

If you are in the area that is under the church in the room where the giant blob type monster is, you need to examine one of the statues, an option menu will come up do what it says, after that the square blocks should start moving, this should give you access to the inner dungeon.

If you are talking about actually being inside the shrine itself then what you should do is put your map up so it covers most of the screen after that look for odd areas on the map that seem empty. If this doesn't work go back to the start of the shrine and search each room for a cracked wall. Doing that will allow you to find the areas you most probably missed. Don't worry to much about it, I myself got stumped a little on that part.

I had tried that but nothing comes up. I know where the wall I need is but the option for disentigration dosent come up at all???

i am having this problem as well, i think it might be a bad cd or something. because i had a different copy years back and i had no problems using the hammers then. if i figure something out ill let you know.
