Question for Spyro: A Heros Tail

I am in a room in the sunken ruins with an acid pool in the middle of the floor and several ledges on the walls. I can't get up to the very top ledge (the one above the ledge with the horn diver target) and I only have 21 light gems when you need 24 to get invincibility. Do you know where the other light gems are or how to get to the very top?

Well, if you don't bother with opening the chests, the get outta that place and go buy some keys (only one at a time) then, you might get a few more light gems. Anyway, I'm in the next place on from The Lost Cities, which is this snow place, and I was stuck on that part with the acid pool for AGES yesterday.
Okay, so what you do, is, (when you have invincibility) dive into the acid pool, then hold the circle button to SWIM LIKE CRAZY!!!!! There is a light gem down there, so swim in to that, get it, then keep swimming on. After a few seconds there is another opening so go through that then you will be in a different room. From there you just have to hit a switch or something, then go through this doorway then you're done. Hope this helps!!!!
