It all depends on where you are if it is with claire then go to the statue that comes up go to the side with a piece sticking out and push on it until it faces the guy with the sword. If it is for chris go to the other side of the room that has the hole in the middle of it (HARD to miss!) and switch on the ventilation thing from claires story if you read the sign while playing steve it says it has to be turned on if it fails.
