JJ is in elf region near city of flowers. You must go with journey pig statue to elf region. Go to the left an you will see a path to crocogator hides. Go straight along this path. Go to the right where you can find long necked turtle or something like that. Near the treasure chest, you will find JJ. Talk to him and JJ will ask you to help JJ's friends. Go to Borgandiazo. Fight Galvados, blood orc leader. Talk to JJ after defeating Galvados. JJ will added to your friend list.
