You should first start with your first 8,000 points like this:
QB- Passing & Carrying
WR- Catching, Speed & Agility
RB- Speed, Run Power, Carrying
OL- Blocking, Tackling
DL- D-Moves, Tackling
LB- Speed, Tackling, D-moves
DB- Agility, Coverage, Speed
Do some easy challenges and work on improving those stats. You should worry height and weight later. Then you can do some of the harder challenges and you can add some agility to your RB, some run power and agility and speed for your QB and some run power for your WR. Then you will have an unstopable team.
You can get more challenge Tokens by beating the ladder on each division.

Simply go through the divisions from left to right. If you want a tip, keep you're running back but with 760 tokens get a new player every round. By the time you get to the final divisions you will have a couple of rounds to buy devlopment points for you're RB. Beats having to work on every guy.

The positons they play shows the stats of what they play. Gather alot of points to raise stats, that'll improve the team and you'll beat. Complete the challenges to earn tokens.

Go to the nfl challenge first then your goal is to beat the ladder for every division in the nfl
I would suggest you use the bulk of your developemnt points on about 2-3 players.the rest of the pack you shopuld try and get actual nfl players
