The best car team for beginners

I'm in the beginning of the game. I just got through the first part of the Ray's challenge but I can't go any further in the game because I lose all the races I try to compete in

If you know what the best cars are for each one of the racing types in this part of the game please answer this

Ray? Who's Ray in Prostreet.
However the best cars for each type are as follows:
Grip (expensive): Porsche 911 Turbo, Mitsubishi EVO X. Grip (cheap): Nissan 240SX, BMW M3 E46.
Drift: Mazda RX-7, Nissan 240SX, Toyota Corolla.
Speed: Porsche 911 Turbo, Nissan Skyline R34, Mitsubishi Evo X
Drag: Chevrolet Camaro SS.
