How do you kill the sand wyverns in the desert for the liver quest?

Ok right the way I done the liver of legends was with a 528 great sword just throw sonic bombs at him and hit him sick with your wepon.

I want to know how to make sm and lg barrel bombs my self , the easiest way to get money is liver of legends (just keep getting more than 3 livers) and selling your reward materials

The easiest way to kill Cephalos is using Sonic Bombs. This will make them jump out the sand, where you can attack them. However, you can achieve the same effect by using a Great Sword and slicing down on their fins as the pass.

The best move to use is the running over-head slash (while moving with your weapon put away, press the right analog stick in any direction). When they're out the ground, just keep hitting them with the upswing / sideswing combo. Hitting their head with a strong enough weapon can knock them over and gain you some easy hits.

When you kill them, you can try and carve a liver, but the chance of successfully getting one is about 60%, so don't expect to get one very time.

To make barrel bombs, you first need to make gunpowder. For this, you need fire herbs and nitroshooms. Fire herbs can be bought quite cheaply at the shop, and nitroshooms can be found in several areas in the swamp, just look for clumps of mushrooms.

They are also sometimes offered as rewards for the 2 star Mushroom Hunt quest in the jungle. When you have both ingredients, combine them to make gunpowder. Then, combie the gunpowder with a small or large barrel to make a barrel bomb. You can either buy barrels at the shop, or you can find them in Felyne and Melynx dens. Just search in the big collection of barrels they always seem to have.

I find that to make money, carve everything you kill, take all the rewards and then just sell everything that you don't need, or is so easy to collect that you can collect it again. Just stockpile monster parts until you need money.
