how do you beat ymir?

I've tried all sorts of stuff, but the frost giants keep attacking me before I can really try something. I think you have to throw their spears at ymir, but I never can get enough time to aim my throw before another frost giant appears.

You just need to kill a frost giant then get their spear by pressing square and when Ymir attack you with his ice bat use block then attack the bat with the spear and then a small mini-game should start just repeat these steps until you defeat him.Oh and after you defeat him don't forget to get the sketch book near the exit because you might like the picture Because I didn't saw it.
