When it's coming just hit the brake and let somebody pass you and it will kill them.

If there are people close behind you, hit the break. If they pass you, it will go after them instead.
If you are way ahead, just drive as fast as you can. This will not block it, but it will get you ahead so they don't pass you as quickly.
