You have to work for Bob at the Brownie Farm for a long time.

To do this go to his shop at the other end of town and go behind his conter and talk to him.

Select part-time job and he'll let you do it right away.

Also it would help if you gave him his favourite food.

You have to work for Bob at the Brownie Farm for about 2 weeks(in the game)or a season or two and give him honey and cake(his favourite food)on the few last 3or 4 days and brush the horse you want most first thing and talk to it first thing and eventually Bob will come to your "house" or "farm" and have the horse that you brushed and talked to first thing there. Also at first just brush the horse and feed it because if you talk to it in the first two days it will go on it's heels and you'll back off so wait a bit then start talking to it and after some talking and brushing days press X at the side of the horse then you might get on him then you can walk around on him and eventually youll be able to ride him(he'll start to gallop)and get faster and faster each day.

It takes a while, but you need to go to the BROWNIE FARM where BOB works and ask for a part time job(it's best to get there as early as possible and you can't work while it's raining or on sundays when it is closed.) When he let's you go into the field go to the horse that you like the best and brush it and talk to it first and make sure you do that every day you go because the horse has to like and trust you.It took me 3 weeks. After about 2 weeks if you still don't have a horse give him sweets(honey and especially cakes.) If you have done this, sometime around the end of the summer he will come to your house in the morning and ask you if you want to take care of the horse, you tell him yes and then you give it a name. You won't be able to ride the horse until it likes you. BOB and GWEN will visit often to check on the horse. Remember to brush your horse every day and there you go you have a horse. It's a big paragraph but at least you know how to get a horse.
