I have befriended everyone that give the special tools except Galen, but everytime I visit them they don't give me the tool. I only got the weird watering can from ramona and that's it, Cody, Tim, and vesta aren't giving me cut scenes for the others. Can you help?
Comment:(Jan 29 2012) Alright so after more excessive gifting to Cody he finally gave me the sickle, so for those of you stuck like I was just keep giving them a gift everyday and hope by the season's end they are your close friend.

Usually, the best time to activate the cutscenes in which you get a gift are by walking into the main house or room that the person is normally in. If doing that still doesn't give you the cutscene, all you can do is just continue giving gifts. Eventually, you'll get the tool.
