If it is raining or snowing outside, put them inside of the barn. NEVER leave them outside at night, while you are sleeping.
Make sure you are feeding them, give them some "Good Fodder" every once in a while too.
If you have a brush, clean them too. This is mainly for friendship, but it could possibly improve their health a bit. To clean them, push them by the water out in the pasture, and you will have the choice to clean. If they aren't by water, you can still brush them.
To get rid of a sickness, buy some Animal Medicine and give it to the sick cow. You can use animal medicine on any animal, not just cows.
Hope I helped.

You need to first figure out why they are getting sick. The primary reason (I would guess...) is because they aren't getting fed enough. When they are kept inside the barn, each one should eat two servings of fodder a day. If they don't eat on their own, try hand feeding it to them. If you are keeping them outside, the feeding situation gets a bit more hazy. There needs to be enough spaces with fertilizer on them to support the appetites of 3 cows. That would be a minimum of 6 spaces, but you would probably want more because it wont grow back fast enough. If the cows get rained on, that can make them sick too. Consult the books in your house, or Takura for any more cow-care information.
