Alright I've had the game Harvest Moon a Wonderful life Special edition forever. Now suddenly whenever I try and put a fertilized seed in the incubator the "Put in" option doesn't appear.
<BR>1.Why can't I put a fertilized egg in the incubator?
<BR>2.How do you make hybrid fruits and vegetables?

1) maybe the egg it should be a fertilized egg... In order to do that just buy a rooster and hen and it can lay egg already and you can put it there... Maybe the one you are trying to put is just an ordinary egg... You can look at your bag if it is fertilized or just ordinary... 2) to make hybrid fruits and vegetables you need a recipes and I can give you some recipes for that:

I have the same problem. Even if it is a fertilized egg the "put in" option doesnt appear. It's just "check"

if you have 8 chickens already i dont think you can have any more.
and what do you do too hybird them i know the recipes but where do i put them together

You are only allowed 8 chickens at one time, so either you sell the egg or sell a chicken (I prefer a rooster) but always keep one rooster at all times to get fertilized eggs. They are worth more than the regular.

You can hybridize crops in this two headed plant called tartan. The person who helps on your farm brings it back from market randomly and keeps it in his house. You put two different crops in it and if the recipy works you get a seed for the new crop

If you already have eight chickens then you CAN'T have any more so I recomend you sell all but one rooster to get you some extra $$$(cash) and also to get hybrid plants you speak to tartan in takuras room and befriend him and he'll ask you if you want to hybrid plants

CRAP! Someone stole my answer for this!!! Just read the walkthrough for the game and the guide too, you also need tartan to make hybrids also you can make a hybrid for trees too
