You have to beat the game on easy then medium then hard then expert and it will pop up on you're bonus song list

You can only unlock it from xbox live ps3 and pc not for ps2 unfortunitly and no it is completely free on pc and xbox idk about ps3 and it isnt impossible I've done it several times on expert not easy but not impossible either

The most impossible song in GH3 is Through the Fire and Flames, and you must beat the game on any difficulty in order to do that. The song will be under the bonus songs tab.
