Of course,I love the Formula Gran Turismo. I mean really. Think about it. It's the best car when it comes to acceleration and handling. It totally rules!

I would say the Ford GT, as long as it's fully optimized. It's sleek, looks awesome, and can go really fast.

The Toyota GT1 is perfect for any endurance race. It's got super speed and horsepower. It's even good for technical circuits.

I absolutely adore the Shelby Cobra. It's perfect for that series of endurance races in the European events section involving cars from before 1970. It'll totally leave any other of the competing cars in the dust. It's also under 4000 mm long, so it works for one of the two professional races involving light weight cars. I'm not sure which one it can race in.

The Mercedes McLaren car rocks. Although it's handling isn't the best, it has great speed and horsepower.

The Buick special '62 surely is high up there in the ranks of the cars' quality and performance. It's doesn't totally ruin you (it costs 50,000 credits) and it's perfect for races involving cars from before 1970. It also has good horse power from the start (about 600 horse power).

I really love the Toyota RSC Rally Raid car. It rules! Its handling is absolutely stunning and it has good horse power and speed. So, this makes the Toyota RSC Rally Raid car "to die for" when it comes to selecting cars for tight circuits and rally races.

When totally tuned and charged up, the Dodge Viper GTS is truly an insanely awesome car. One the test course, you can go to about 230 Miles Per Hour!

The Audi R8 race car is amazing when it comes to speed. All though speed control may be an issue, I just love the speeds and I recommend it to anyone with the need for speed!

The Bentley Speed 8 is truly fast and furious. It's perfect for high speed courses without sharp turns. Be careful though, because you'll definitely need to control the super speeds on this car.

The Cizeta V16 is totally one of the best cars in the world of Gran Turismo 4. It's perfect for sports car races.

The Formula Gran Turismo of course, but also the Toyota Minolta has great handling and speed capabilities.

I like the Minolta for it's speed and handling, but here are some speeds I got to in different max-tuned cars:

1. 270 MPH-Cerbera Speed 12
2. 266 MPH-RUF CTR2
3. 249 MPH-Minolta Toyota 88C-V

Stars and Stripes race prize, in the American Events is the:
Chvrolet Camaro Le Mans GTR '01
with that fully tuned, it will beat any of the Million Credit cas. Also I hit 278mph in my ford gt '05
got down to 9.12 qtr mile in the ford gt '05 as well

i reckon that for a good speedy sports car with lots of controll not the fastest but can hit 223 ph when fully tuned to go with the pagani zonda it will set you back about 640k but has great excelleration and it is better then my fully tuned nissan motul pitwork which cost around 1,350,000 so if your after a really cheap insan car i'd say to go eith the pagani zonda.

The Minolta is personally my favorite car all round.
The Mazda 787B for acceleration, the Corvette C5R for handling and the Sauber C 9 for speed.

I think the Lister Storm V12 because it's power was 602. It has a top speed of 207mph.

Suzuki Escudo is fastest car in game got it to 289 with the transmission's gears spaced all the way out and ride height dropped down. Even faster on GT3.

Obviously the Formula Gran Turismo. It isn't necessarily the fastest car (I think it's top speed is like 220). BUT, unlike many other fast cars, it has butt-kicking handling, and you can take on corners at high speeds. Also, it has equally butt-kicking acceleration, which is good for city circuits. The result of all this butt-kicking performance is butt-kicking finishes in races every time (unless you're racing against other formula cars). So, if you want to kick your competitors' butts and enjoy butt-kicking performance, get your butt in a Formula Gran Turismo!!!
