Xtreme legends focuses more deeply on the chracters. While this one will give some info on the people but is more focused on battles. The earlier games in the series were always quite different. In the normal one you fight the battle from multiply positions. Yet all the importent events happen, there rather small and sometimes don't have to be done. The Xtreme Legends has the same battle but will focus on just one event in detail. Sometimes your all alone doing on battle. In the normal one you will almost always have allies, and they help to some extent. Lastly Xtreme Legends will give more outside features, like challenge mode. In the end I love this one and not Xtreme Legends. I suggest getting this one, but the chocie is yours. Hope you enjoy the one you get.
