When goku and broly were babies goku kept broly awake with his crying which made broly cry, and the old saiyan legend says that if someone makes a saiyan baby cry he will hate that person for ever.
In the movie when broly is grown up his father is controlling him (you've probably noticed the neclace and arm bracelets he wears in the game).
He travels to earth and when he see's goku his rage builds he changes to super saiyan and breaks the mind control (thats why the neclace and arm bracelets aren't there when he's in legendary super saiyan) cool eh !

Because when they where babys Goku would always cry and he would start to make Broly cry and the people who would stay in there with the babys would laugh at him.Thats what I think because Broly would always have flashbacks about when he was a baby. I already seen Broly:The Legendary Super Saiyain ang Broly:Second Coming

Broly and Goku were born on the same day. Broly was born with a power level of like 10,000 while Goku was born with a power level of...2. King Vegeta (Vegeta's Father) ordered Broly to be executed. Paragus tried to stop King vegeta but then King Vegeta a,most killed him. His Minions went out and also almost killed Broly. Ironically, that same day, Freiza destroyed Planet Vegeta, the only ones that survived were broly and Paragus. I'm sure that Broly is just Jealous of Goku becuase he wasn't exocuted and also, the guards made fun of Brooly but cheered goku on!!
