How do you use membership cards?

You don't need to do anything they just unlock new abilities at the skill shop passively.

The memberships cards are for the Skill Shop...

There are 4 membership cards...

1. Green Membership Card: You start the game with this Membership
Card.
2. Silver Membership Card: Buy it at the Skill Shop, or by having a
Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 2 saved file on the
memory card or by getting it in someone's
D.U.
3. Gold Membership Card: Find it in someone's D.U
(Must be higher than level 15)
or buy it at the Skill Shop.
4. Black Membership Card: Find it in someone's D.U
(Must be higher than level 30)
or buy it at the Skill Shop.

With the Green membership card you can buy capsules colored blue, these capsules are the common ones...

With the Silver membership card you can buy capsules colored blue-green, these capsules are the uncommon ones...

With the Gold membership card you can buy capsules colored green, these capsules are the rare ones...

With the Black membership card you can buy capsules colored gold, these capsules are the special ones and expensive too...

So actually you can't use the membership cards yourself they just unlock these capsules listed above in the Skill shop so you can buy them there...

They are already in use when you go to the shop every time.

They allow you to buy new capsules.

Membership cards allow you to buy different skills in the shop.

They are "Automatic" in activation.
