Listen and listen good, when you use a past save file your weapons experience and gil will be that of when you saved that part. And for better results try very hard and carry your file over

When you begin a new game I think the weapons will be with you but you need to get new money by yourself to upgrade it again and try very hard maybe you can get more money
Hint:you will continue with money on very hard mode only

Sorry dude but I don't know what square was thinking but this lvl and money thing gets to me too I HATE IT but if you start again you will at least get you're weapons just not...the...money
