When you begin to pick the lock on mandy's locker, a prefect will start to come in. You see the red dot on the radar. Press triangle to quit picking the lock, go hide in the bin by the showers until the prefect comes in, looks and leaves. Get out again, pick the lock and he'll throw in a stink bomb and retrieve the lab notes. Then return to beatrice

I'll explain two ways to accomplish this.

1. This is for people who are good at lock picking. All you have to do is pick the lock quickly and run behind the block of lockers Mandy's locker is in. Wait for your trouble meter to drain and leave.
2. This is for those not very gooo at lock picking. As soon as you press triangle to begin picking the lock, a prefect will start walking down th gym corridor. Press triangle to quit, and hide in either: 1.The garbage can by the girl's showers 2.In a laundry basket on the far wall of the girl's changeroom or 3. Behind the block of lockers that Mandy's locker is in.

Try to pick it when there is a red dot on the map leave the locker and hide in thetrash bin,when you pick the locker hide there again until you lose your heat.hope I helped.
