I was wondering could anyone tell me how I repair the allied tanks I've just past the recon level

You need to have an engineer.He has a tool for fixing tanks,cars and so on.When you are choosing your weapon it's above the shotgun.

When you are an engineer equipe your blow torch stand right up against the tank and switch it on (R1) and it will repair your tank.
