If you want the best team in the game do this:

Go to your favorite team and lower the players stats to the minum.
Now place good players in your team and place your weak players in other team
And that´s it.

I now it because I placed mansfield town in the premier league

If your goal keeper is really bad, go to the spanish segunda, and look for a goal keeper called Cavalleros. He is a 85 and I got him for palace and halfway through my first season he was 91! He is incredibly good

Complete a season as a team to unlock their third kit. :-)

If your players are feeling tired in season all you have to do is save your career and then load the career back up. Your players fitness should have risen.

When Playing as any team on FIFA 06 A word of warning - DON'T OVERSPEND.
It's a big mistake as I was playing as AS Roma and even tho I had 100 co operation in my team and the fans loved me I had overspent by buying jermaine defoe and I was 1000 in debt and after every match I was getting more and more in debt until they sacked me

Ok people I have found out the greatest cheat in the history of the fifa world...i have created a full rated 99 team!!! Ok heres how it goes...pick your favourite team that isn't international...

Then you go to club transfers, pick up all the best players in the game that you like. Then go to the worst leagues in the game and take a whole bunch of under 50 rated players...

You put your best players on the reserve and sub list, and put the worst players on the squad...your rating will go down intensly to around 1 or a half of a star...go to manager mode and since your team sucks so much...

It will be there for your chosing...then you will have enough money to last a season of you don't upgrade anything....win games by a good margin of 3-5 goals...by the end of the season, if you go undefeated and win any tournaments, you will be a good team....look at my lineup...oh ya and your ratigns are higher during the game.

In the menu it shows them lower

If you have a penalty, you must put it away, or the match will get a whole lot harder, and if you play legend (like me) then it is almost impossible to recover from a missed penalty.

Buy the big clubs so they are available for carreer mode play, then manage them for 2 seasons, if you did well, you should have 5 prestige, if then you now, export this team, they will gain extra skill boost, and you can totally own.

When trying to buy a player of great standard try to loan him first the team will usually deny then go to contract negotiations and the reason they declined is because they are looking to sell not loan so buy him and voila you have your player

When taking a penny chose a side to aim for and hold L1 and press and hold circle until tthe bar is nearly full and then let go.

If done well the penalty should bounce off the post and into the net making it impossible for the keepers to get.

Wen it lets you aim at goal for the free kick make shoure that the post is always up to you're ear. If you're 30m or higher away bottom of you're ear
if it in the 20's middle of you're ear make shoure it dose.
If the ball is aimed at goal & oppisite site of goaly you shall be able to kick it to the upright bar & knocks it fast into goal. Dont worry bout kepper if u'v kicked it right they wont be able to reach it. & even if it hit the post & down it gose to fast for him to catch it. So use it well cause iv gotten high scores with this ability.

If you want to win a game and your loosing, press start and go to select sides, choose the team you are playing against, then make a lot of own goals and finaly just before the game ends or if you want you can swich back to your own team and then you win.

PS. If a sign apears that you won't gain any points, it's ok.

Up, I have finally mastered fifa 06 thanks to my mate james baillie :)

If you are wigan west ham or sunderland or any other under 4 star teams in the prem and you always simulate the matches I suggest swappin 1-5 good players.

E.g. riquelme or de alssandro to you're team in club transfers but not saving it then start the manager mode up and it will say you can save you're transfers in you're manager mode so do that enter it.

Then save then exit then all the players you transfered will be at there same clubs ok.

P.s always play the first and last match of the new season.

Instead of hanging around having to wait for the transfer window to open, and not always getting the players you want, just go to "Squads" in "My FIFA 06" to give yourself a dream team.

When attacking the opponents goal mouth, make the keeper come out. When he does, edge away form him so he follows. Then pass to a team mate in space, and you'll have yourself an open net.

If you wont a good stricker I would get owen. He starts at 87 but in about 4 games he becomes 94 so he is the best. if you need a good player in a sertain possition make your own player in team managient

There are quite a few gd young players but I have found 3 who are exceptionally good after a couple of seasons:
Adu
Kerlon
Walcott

I started with Rushden and now in the prem, these 3 players have helped me loads

To be a really good team what you do is make all the subs and reserves rubbish by editting them. Now you can be really good teams and earn money. Also if you havent unlocked the good career teams yet and if you want to be them you swap the reserves or subs with the good players on squads I think ( I'm not sure ) then the game thinks that your a rubbish team so then you can be them.

If you want to sign a good player that will definatly go to your team then get the search name up and search kerlo it will then show up a guy called kerlon from the brazilian league buy him. Trust me hes great.

This isn't really a hint I just thought you should all know that sometimes when the ball only just goes wide of the goal for some reason it goes in.

To make your team the best team go to my fifa 06 and then go to edit player and put all their attributes up to 99.
