I found the heat blade when I was on my way to Vell Web. Do you know the path where after you spend the night in a cave with lyod. Well there is a slide to the left side of the screen where a sign says danger when you proceed to the next screen over. When you get to the bottom Rose will come out and then you will know something is up. Go down the pathway and you will then find yourself in a small courtyard where Rose will start to reminince about the pass. After you fight the sentinel you will require what you are looking for.

You get heatt blade in the castle where you fight doel. It's not in the castle but in the rooms where you first enter to go to the castle. In disc 1 where you enter the place you will find doors to the sides. Check all of themuntil you find the person that sells it.
