I don't know what they do but I know where 2 of them are. 1. Hurricos (Autumn Plains)-flame all of the windmills 2. There is one in Skelos Badlands but I will be honest I don't know how I got it.

Yah I have 3 I only know the one in hurricos but they are good for something... I think you unlock some special thing after you get all of them.and if you get everything (all gems and all orbs)you unlock a fireball flame to replace your regular flames I like the regular flame better though.

Go into hints and look for a hint name skill points by me
It tells you how to get all of the skill points and what you get for it
