Don't cook anything that's simple,and when you go to the festival don't talk to the people,just begin judging and you will win.

The way you win is by not talking to anyone barn the mayor to start the cooking festival if you talk to someone doing the festival they will win do this only if you're not entering the festival and want a girl 2 like you

I talk to everybody in that festival but I still win with this:

-Relaxion Tea

.Relaxion Tea Leaves(get it with bring seven present like egg, or bread at 3:00 PM to the Harvest Sprite House, give one gift for each of them don't get late!!! Even 10 minutes!!! Must be on time!!!)

And btw, it doesn't matter if you talk or not to the villagers during the cooking festival. I wonder how people came up with that hint..

- Tools: frying pan, whisk
- Ingredients: milk, egg, rice ball, oil, carrot, mushroom, truffle, green pepper

i won with a noodle recipe but it had like all 8 ingridients it also doesnt matter whether you talk to the othe ppl or not

well....i just made some truffle rice and mix juice. and the gourmet choose me to win. if you don't know where is the truffle, you can buy it from horse race festival for 12 medals
