Yes you can get a fishing pole but you have to catch a certain number of fish first. With the fishing ploe you can catch legendary fish as well.

Yes, catch loads and loads of fish and put them in your pond (doesnt matter what size) and feed them everday. When you get about fifty the man who gave you the rod will give you a fishing pole.

I had to wait till i got 78 fish!!! Its quicker if you breed them too e.g throw one thing of fish food in the pond per day
