Birthday gift for Agrias (chapter 4)??

Hi. I was wondering if there was a way to unlock the birthday event for Agrias in chapter 4. I have seen this in another FAQ, but I forgot all the necessary parts. I think Agrias, Mustadio, Alicia, and Lavian must still be in the party. Also I think you must have at least 500,000 gil in funds. I want to know what I did wrong, and please verify if this works or if the event is bogus. Thanks!

I cannot remember if this event ever occured when I played the game, but looking around I didn't read anything about it.

you have to be in a town but not a castel town

This trick does indeed work. You need to have Alicia and Lavian still in your party to access this event ( you must also have Mustadio and Agrias[of course]in your party as well). You also need 500,000 gil. You need to be somewhere where you can move from one town to another without going to a green or red spot. ( For the best results do it at the beginning of the 4th chapter). It worked for me, so I hope you figured out what you did wrong and good luck!

As far as I know this quest only works for the PSP version of the game. I will try it on the PS1 again just to be sure but I am pretty positive.
