To move on to the next level of the deep dungeon (if you're talking about the pitch black dungeon off to the lower right part of the map with multiple levels), you must find the secret passage. The passage can be located on any of the squares that you can stand on with a character. What you must do is keep one enemy alive and look for the passage (put him to sleep or stop him from moving). To find the passage more easily, I suggest lining up all of your characters on one side of the dungeon and moving one square at a time towards the other side. Also, if a dead enemy turns to crystal, it will shed some light in the dungeon. You might have to stand on every square to find the passage. When you have found it, a message will come up saying that you have found a passage that leads to a lower level. Once this happens, you can kill the last enemy and when you go back to the map, the deep dungeon will have an additional level. Hopefully, this was clearer.
